Bens score an imposing 383 for 9 against Peterites
SportThree sparkling half centuries from Rukshan Weearsinghe, Eranga Ratnayake and number nine batsman Sachin Peiris enabled St. Benedict’s College amass an imposing score of 383 for 9 declared in the first innings on the opening day of their inter school under 19 cricket tournament match against St. Peter’s College which commenced at Kotahena yesterday.
The highlight of the opening day’s proceedings was the fifth wicket stand of 153 between Rukshan and Eranga. The Match will be continued at 9.30am today.
