Rev. Bro. Nimal Gurusinghe retires from service

The staff, students and all support bodies affiliated to the OBU of the College accorded a fitting farewell to Rev. Bro. Nimal Gurusinghe, who retired after serving the school for more than 2 decades on Wednesday 25th July. Rev. Bro Nimal Gurusinghe who is also an Old Benedictine was ordained a La Sallian brother in 1973 and served St. Benedict's from 1973 to 1978 before serving at De Mazenod College, Kandana and St. Sebastian's College Moratuwa. He came back once again to serve his alma mater in 1991 and continued till his retirement last week. He was a dedicated teacher and did a lot to improve the quality of Education, Sports and Extra Curricular activities at College. The Benedictine family would like to take this opportunity to thank Rev. Bro. Gurusinghe sincerely for the tremendous services rendered to the school and wish him a very happy and a peaceful retirement
