Benedictines into quarters of the Youth U-19 T20 Championships
SportA last ball six by Madura Madusanka who made an unbeaten 39 in 27 balls helped St. Benedictís College beat Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa by four wickets at the pre-quarter final match played at Kotahena yesterday,(4th April) and qualified for the quarter finals of the Dialog Youth U-19 T20 Championships.

St. Benedictís College will meet Trinity College, Kandy in the quarter finals which will be played today at the CCC grounds.

Taking the first lease of the wicket, Cambrians scored 146 for eight in 20 overs. Jason Perera (2 for 16), Dillon Angelo (2 for 35), Yohan Soyza(2 for 25) and Chandana Jayasanka(2 for 10) bowled best to restrict the visitors.

St. Benedictís in reply, scored 150 for six in 20 overs. Thilina Silva 34, Jason Perera 29, Dillon Angelo 16 and Madura Madusanka 39 not out.
