Sebastianites fight back to force a draw
SportSt. Sebastians College trailing by 15 runs in their first essay fought back courageously to declare at 234 for 7 and setting a victory target of 220 runs to St. Benedict's in their inter-school under-19 cricket match concluded last Saturday (28th January) at Kotahena.

Benedictines, resuming at 133 for 5 were all out for 155 runs. In their second essay Sebs declared at 234 for 7 and Set a target of 220 for an outright win. St. Benedict’s were 63 for 1 at the close.

St. Sebastians: 140 (Yohan Soysa 5 for 23, Dilan Angelo 3 for 32) and 234 for 7 dec. (Jason Perera 2 for 75, Dilan Angelo 2 for 72)

St. Benedict's: 155 all out (Sameera Sandamal 60) and 63 for 1 (Janidu Karunartilleke 24 n.o.).
