Hi! Everyone, I wonder why we don't have the Annual Cricket Match with D.S.Senanayake or with some other School.

FYI : DSS from this year started playing their big match with Mahanama College so they are no longer an option.

Better look out for another school. BTW is there any suggestions ? (apart from DMz

Yes Lakshan, I agree with you. We have to look for a better school more than DSS. Then we can enjoy the big match without fighting each other. If DSS stared there big match again. Why can't we?:

Dear Young & Old Bens,

It�s a real challenge to play a big match as most of you know the season goes on for about 7 to 8 months, and the 11 players are chosen based on their performance during this period. This also gives you an uplift and determination as individual to do your best during the season. As a past 1st XI captain (2000/01) and how could I forget, the last captain to captain the big match in 2001, I would like know if there could be any hope that our collage crickets that they could look forward for big match?

DS has already started a big match with Mahanama.... i heard that we are gonna start one with Carey College.... i don't know whether it's true or not..... but let's see..... hey... how about starting our soccer big match with JOES like in good old days......

Dear All,

I wonder why it is so difficult to find a Catholic College to play the Big Match. Is it the fact or is it that the College do not want to put a weight on this request?
We have already missed that Grand event for many years. So much of comments to get it back to the track. But still no any favourable replies but heap of requests.Have the present College crowd become Anti-Cricket Lovers!!!!!!

Please pay your kind attention for this request. I have made my 1st request in 31st May 2006. Then after a lot of views have porposed. But we havent seen any respond for it. Sorry if the College is alrady started to working in it. Really good if anybody could advise us the progress of it.

Been a loyal Ben, Captaining College cricket in 1992/93 and my brother Virosh Fernando Captaining College in 2001 (Final Big Match which we won the 50 over game) we are so proud of been a part of the Bens family. I personally wish our College to start a Cricket Big Match, in favour of our youngsters, who are willing to contribute towards the School and for the game of Cricket.
